Requirements:
These are the prerequisites your computers needs to run the game:

You need at least Direct X 7.0 or later, OR OpenGL drivers for you video card (probably already installed). You can download and install the latest DirectX here at Microsoft. OpenGL drivers are normally installed with your video card drivers, if there any available.

Download and install the Java 2 Plugin, version 1.3.1_02 (consumer version)

Then download Java3D 1.2.1_03 RUNTIME for Windows, OpenGL version. Click on the link below and select "Open from location" or "Open", and the installer will run as soon as the file is downloaded.

Verify Your Setup
You can make sure you have Java2 and Java3D installed correctly by going to this page which has a very simple Java 3D applet running. If you see a spinning cube after the applet has installed, you're ready to install the game!

Download and Install the Game:
This self-extracting executable will install itself into a C:\VP2 folder.

If you have a previous version, answer yes to answer prompts asking if you wish to overwrite existing files.

Running the Game:
To Start:

Hit Start/Run and type c:\vp2\play.bat.

Run a DOS window, type cd \vp2, then type play.bat.

Run Windows explorer, open the c:\vp2 folder, and drag the play.bat icon onto the desktop while holding the ALT key down to create a shortcut on the desktop, that you can double click to run any time.
